Prayers For Passover

1. Freedom from Bondage:

Galatians 5:1
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery.” I pray that I may walk in the freedom that Christ has given me. Amen.
2. Remembering God’s Faithfulness:
Dear God, I come before You today to remember Your faithfulness and provision. Just as You provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, I thank You for Your provision and care in my life. Help me to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness.

Deuteronomy 16:3
“Do not eat it with bread made with yeast. Instead, for seven days eat bread made without yeast, the bread of affliction, because you left Egypt in such a hurry.” I pray that I may endure the trials and tribulations that come my way. Amen.

14. Lamb’s Blood Protection:
Dear God, I pray for the protection of the Lamb’s blood. Just as the blood of the Passover lamb protected the Israelites from death, protect me from the enemy and its schemes.
Revelation 12:11
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” I pray that the blood of Jesus protect me from the enemy. Amen.
15. The Angel of Death Passes Over:
Dear God, I pray for Your mercy and grace. Just as You spared the Israelites from the angel of death, spare me from the judgment of God.
Exodus 12:29
“At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well.” I pray that You spare me from Your judgment. Amen.
16. God’s Judgment and Mercy:
Dear God, I pray for Your mercy and grace. Just as You judged the Egyptians but showed mercy to the Israelites, show me mercy and spare me from Your judgment.

Dear God, I pray for a leader like Moses who will deliver me from the slavery of sin. Just as You used Moses to deliver the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, use Your servants to deliver me from the slavery of sin.

Dear God, I pray for the inheritance of the Promised Land. Just as You gave the Israelites the Promised Land, give me the inheritance of eternal life.
Joshua 1:3-4
“I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.” I pray that You give me the inheritance of eternal life. Amen.
22. The Table of the Lord:
Dear God, I pray for the privilege of eating at the Table of the Lord. Just as the Israelites ate the Passover meal, I pray for the privilege of eating at the Table of the Lord.
